Troop 441 and Pack 805 have been sponsored by many organizations over the decades. In the 1940s and 1950s by the 20-30 Club, then from the 1950s through 2000s by the Old River Men’s Club, which started as a PTA group for the Old River School located at what is now Apollo Park in Downey. Starting in 2017, the Old River Youth Foundation was formed to charter youth activities in Downey, including Scouting units. The Old River Youth Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
